Tuesday 25 May - Tuesday 29 June
Tuesday evenings from 6pm until 7:30pm
Whether you are new to meditation, or more experienced, this free, six-week programme will provide you with valuable insights and help you to develop and strengthen a regular practice alongside like-minded peers.
Join us for a series of genuine, in-person meditation experiences, and get support to make sense of the thoughts and feelings that can come up along the way.
The facilitator has over 25 years experience in meditation and has been living with HIV since 2013.
Meditation played a major role in his journey with HIV and self-acceptance, and now means he can share it with others. The groups will be co-facilitated by a counsellor from the NZAF therapeutic team.
Meditation calms the mind and helps us to feel more connected to both ourselves and others. Training in mindfulness can help you each moment with an open, accepting awareness that is free from judgement.
This event series is completely free and is open to people living with HIV of all genders and sexualities.
