Trustee nominations sought as AGM approaches

  • 📅11 September, 2017

The New Zealand AIDS Foundation (NZAF) Trust Board announces one vacancy for an elected Trustee position on the Board. The Trust Board encourages qualified and enthusiastic candidates to stand for election to this position at the next Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on 11 November 2017.

We encourage all members to put themselves forward for nomination, including nominees who have knowledge of Māori tikanga, HIV positive nominees (regardless of disclosure status), and nominees who are women, transgendered, Pasifika, African or Asian.

Potential nominees are welcome to contact current Trust Board members to discuss the role and the commitment required of Trustees.

More details, including a Position Description and Nomination Form can be found on the AGM 2017 web page. Nominations must be received by the Trust Board Secretary by Wednesday, 4 October 2017. Eligible members will be invited to vote on the candidates from Wednesday 11 October 2017.

The Board is keen to see membership of NZAF continue to grow and reflect the diverse range of communities interested in and affected by HIV.

NZAF is asking the community to encourage friends, family and colleagues to join. Membership is now free.
