PrEP Information for Clinicians

If you're currently, or considering, prescribing PrEP, here are some helpful guidelines, learning modules and resources

National November Roadshow - Free training

ASHM and NZAF will be delivering training across Aotearoa to provide GPs, Nurse Practitioners and Nurses an update on strategies available for the prevention of HIV transmission - focusing on PrEP. The training will prepare practitioners to meet the prevention needs of patients seeking PrEP and address the new PHARMAC criteria announced 1 October 2019, enabling relevant practitioners  (GPs and Nurse Practitioners) to prescribe without named specialist authority.
