Aotearoa is at COVID-19 Alert Level 2 (with Auckland at Level 3) - get more info on how this affects our services

Please test for HIV and other STIs before having sex outside your bubbles in level 2. We can break the chain of transmission for more than one epidemic with this lockdown.

Our Community Engagement team offer free workshops to improve knowledge of HIV and talk about the importance of condom use.

These workshops are aimed at raising awareness of HIV and AIDS.

We offer two different workshops targeted at different communities we work with:

  • Tu Takatāpui - Our place of standing - a workshop designed to raise awareness of takatāpui tanga to whānau, hapu and iwi.
  • HIV 101 - Providing latest updates on HIV prevention strategies, and promoting our vision of ending new HIV transmissions in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Each workshop runs for approximately 1.5 hours and we can tailor the content based on the duration requested and the type of audience. You can book our workshop by filling out the form below. If you run into any issues, you can email our team.
