Health Services Regional Manager - Wellington and Christchurch
I love the sexual health sector. I feel privileged to work in an organisation that seeks to provide tools, information and services in ways that are affirming and inclusive, while acknowledging the differing needs among groups most affected by HIV.
I have been involved in the sexual health sector for the last 6 years. In this time I have had a range of roles, from managing regional service delivery, to developing and delivering community health promotion activities within schools and the wider community.
In my role I have the privilege of working with both the Āwhina (Wellington) and Te Toka (Christchurch) teams to help ensure we offer a range of services that meet the needs of our priority populations. I support our aspirational goal of ending new HIV transmissions in Aotearoa New Zealand by 2025. I am excited to continue working alongside local communities and stakeholders to ensure our collective responses are evidence based and appropriate for the evolving nature of this public health matter.
