Community Engagement Coordinator African

I am a Community Engagement Coordinator for our African Programme Love Cover Protect in Wellington.
I enjoyed working for this organisation from the first day I started as a volunteer in 2008, all the way to being a Community Engagement Coordinator for the African Program. I love the health promotion work I do within the African communities through sexual health workshops, community engagement activities, networking with other African organisations and setting up events. I love working with African youth and helping them develop as leaders. My work is also about making sure the community has access to accurate and consistent facts, information and resources surrounding HIV/AIDS.
I have embraced the challenges this role sometimes has, however this job is very rewarding, fulfilling and is a wonderful way of giving something back to the community.
