Mission, Strategy, Reports

NZAF has a vision of an Aotearoa with zero HIV transmission where people living with or affected by HIV flourish and a mission to prevent transmission, reduce stigma and maximise the well-being of tho

Our staff are a dynamic group of people from different backgrounds, many coming from the communities we serve. All are committed to our vision of a world without HIV and AIDS.

History of NZAF

NZAF was born out of the gay community’s response to AIDS in the early 1980s. We became an incorporated society called The AIDS Support Network in March 1985.

The Trust Board is responsible for the governance of NZAF. They set our strategic direction and vision, policies and performance measures, and appoint the Chief Executive Officer.

Job Opportunities

The New Zealand AIDS Foundation (NZAF) has been at the forefront of the community response to HIV in Aotearoa for more than 30 years, a history we’re very proud of.

We would like to acknowledge the following organisations and granting bodies for their financial support this year.
