Current Medications
These antiretroviral medications are fully funded by Pharmac (under special authority) and are available in New Zealand. This list from September 2008 is the most up to date available.
In New Zealand, most antriretroviral medications are funded by Pharmac. There are some that have been approved as safe to use in New Zealand, but are currently waiting funding. However, these may be accessible via compassionate access programmes. People living with HIV should speak to their specialist if they've any questions regarding these, or other medications
