Candlelight Memorial

Established in 1983, the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial takes place every third Sunday in May. It is led by a coalition of some 1,200 community organisations in 115 countries, who host local memorials to honour the lost and raise awareness about HIV.

In New Zealand, there are many support groups for people living with HIV.

Wellness Fund

The Wellness Fund provides direct financial assistance to people living with HIV in New Zealand, where alternative sources of assistance are unavailable.

I think I was exposed to the virus, during sex with a girl. I used a condom but when I was finished, the condom has fallen off and there was a large amount of blood. I have had no symptoms of the infection, this was 3 months ago.
