The NZAF continued it's promotion of Get it On! this weekend by supporting a team of participants in the Auckland City Marathon.

Women living with HIV in Zimbabwe are taking to the soccer pitch to fight misconceptions and stigma about HIV and AIDS. The project began in December, and enough women have joined to organise competitions among 16 teams. Over the last year a commitment has been made to having greater input from people living with HIV in the planning and review of services delivered by NZAF Positive Health Services. This will enhance the ongoing relationship the NZAF has with HIV peer support organisations and the contribution of staff living with HIV within the NZAF.
