Volunteer for                   World AIDS Day, 25 Nov

If you do one good deed this year, make it collecting on World AIDS Day!

Volunteers are our most important asset at our annual street appeal - without you we cannot collect the money we need to support those living with HIV. The HIV epidemic has never been worse in NZ (especially for gay and bisexual men), so we need your help more than ever before.

World AIDS Day is globally recognised each year on 1 December, however the NZAF will be running a national street appeal on Friday 25 November.

If getting time off work is an issue, you might be surprised how accomodating your employer may be. Many employers have 'corporate social resonsibility' policies and offer paid leave to staff who want to volunteer. Why not ask your boss of HR team? We would be happy to provide you with a letter of confirmation if needed. **

There are also other ways you can help:

  • make a donation
  • take a collection bucket around your office **
  • get in touch with your networks and encourage them to register with us as a volunteer

You can register as a World AIDS Day Collector by completing the online form below. We hope to see you soon!
