Andrew joined the Board as an elected member in November 2009. Andrew believes strongly in the role of the NZAF and the importance of remaining vigilant in the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Andrew currently owns and manages a small consulting firm in Wellington that provides economic and public policy advice to a range of mostly government agencies. Prior to becoming a consultant he worked for the NZ Treasury for roughly ten years. He brings strong public policy skills, an in-depth understanding of central government processes, and financial management expertise.

With the exception of a two to three year stint in both the UK and Australia, Andrew has lived and worked in Wellington most of his adult life. He has a longstanding involvement in the community there, and held the position of Chair of the Wellington Gay Welfare Group for 18 months.
