Vern is a member of the Research, Analysis and Information Unit, based at NZAF National Office in Auckland.

He is responsible for maintaining and further developing the information service, which consists of up-to-date printed, audio-visual and computer-based resources relevant to the management of the HIV epidemic.

This library can be readily accessed by NZAF staff, members of the public, NZAF clients and any organisation working in the field of HIV and AIDS in New Zealand.
