I was born and raised in Australia and made the move permanently to New Zealand and Auckland in early 2010, having previously worked on a consulting basis in Christchurch.

I have extensive experience in working within the not for profit sector at all levels and have concentrated on fundraising as a career after working in counselling and management. I have many stories to tell of my work and successes (and some failures). A highlight was working with troubled youth in Inner City Sydney some of whom had been involved in hate crimes. As part of a community arts project they themselves decided to produce a video against homophobic violence.

I bring to the New Zealand AIDS Foundation a level of experience and skill that I trust will assist our fundraising to meet the shortfalls between what we need and what our contracts give us.

A cadre of organisations is raising the alarm about an increase in gonorrhoea among Auckland’s gay and bisexual men....
