A cadre of organisations is raising the alarm about an increase in gonorrhoea among Auckland’s gay and bisexual men....
My name is Gabriela Mercado. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and hold a Masters in Health Science in Psychotherapy and a Graduate Diploma in Social Sciences both from AUT University. I am also a Provisional Member of the New Zealand Association of Psychotherapists whose code of ethics I ascribe to. I am fluent in English and Spanish.
I began my training in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have experience working with addictions, sexual problems, gender identity conflicts, HIV issues, relationship and family dynamics, refugee and migration issues. Through my professional and personal experience, I have found psychotherapy to be the most powerful tool to work out the emotional and psychological pain that prevents a person to live a fulfilling life.
