Debbie is based at the NZAF Awhina Centre in Wellington. Her primary role is HIV pre and post-test counselling, and supporting and counselling HIV positive clients and their whānau.

Debbie has a Diploma in Counselling and a Certificate in Social Studies from Victoria University. She has worked as a voluntary worker at Victim Support on call-outs and also counselling victims of crime, accident and emergency.

Previously she worked to support for victims of sexual abuse as a Crisis Support worker, assisting people who had been raped and sexually abused.

Debbie has a passion to support people in achieving their goals and recognising and reaching their potential.
