Andrew joined the Board as an elected member in November 2009. Andrew believes strongly in the role of the NZAF and the importance of remaining vigilant in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Andrew currently works as a policy advisor in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet in Wellington. Prior to that he has worked as a consultant, both in Wellington and Australia, and in other government policy jobs. He brings strong public policy skills, an in-depth understanding of central government processes, and financial management expertise.
With the exception of a two to three-year stint in both the UK and Australia, Andrew has lived and worked in Wellington most of his adult life. He has a long-standing involvement in the community there, and held the position of Chair of the Wellington Gay Welfare Group for 18 months.
