Marian has a strong commitment to public health issues, particularly working with resettling women both from refugee and migrant backgrounds.
Her work experience has involved the comprehensive scope of general practice, consulting and public health in urban and rural Africa over a ten years period as a medical doctor.
Marian also has a background in health promotion and has been working for a number of years with different communities, providing education and tools to promote healthy living in New Zealand.
