The NZAF Research Analysis and Information Unit (RAI) is funded by the Ministry of Health to conduct behavioural surveillance and to provide scientific analysis and strategic advice on aspects of HIV control in New Zealand. RAI is contracted to focus on men who have sex with men (MSM) as this is the group most at risk of new HIV infections in New Zealand.
The work of the Research Unit is spread over behavioural surveillance for gay and bisexual men; library services; strategic analysis, and a partnership with the AIDS Epidemiology Group. For more information about the Research Unit, click here.
