Organisation Structure

HIV Prevention and Communications

The NZAF HIV Prevention and Communications Group is responsible for creating and delivering initiatives to prevent the transmission of HIV in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Group is also responsible for the NZAF membership programme, organisational communications including media relationships, developing and building corporate and community partnerships, fundraising and organising annual events like World AIDS Day and the Big Gay Out. 

The NZAF’s International Development work is also a part of this Group.

All NZAF staff and volunteers are committed to HIV prevention – there are 20 staff, based in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch working specifically within the NZAF HIV Prevention and Communications Group.
